With the successful runs of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” comes another addition to the reality dating shows “Bachelor Pad”.

A six-episode competition that features alums from our favorite two dating shows as they re-embark on the quest for love and the prize of $250,000.

The show interestingly plot on the fan-favorites, archrivals, scheming villains, and the sexiest participants from the Bachelor franchise as they reunite in which the contestants will reside in the “Villa De La Vina”, in this series to compete for the pot prize and perhaps, a second chance to find luck in love. The show was picked-up by ABC production and was named “Bachelor Pad.

The series begins with 19 of the most unforgettable characters from seasons of the two dating franchise, living together in the “Bachelor Pad" mansion. Each week, they will square off in head-to-head challenges to compete for immunity and the opportunity to go on a date with the contestant of their choice. The winner of the challenge will then grant immunity to one of his or her dates via the presentation of a rose.

At the end of each episode, the contestants will vote amongst themselves to determine which cast members will be eliminated from the competition. The show offers the 19 now-single contestants a "second chance" at finding love, something that didn't quite work out the first time around.

With the two successes of the former “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” show, Producer Mike Fleiss decision to come up with a spin-off Bachelor Pad, ABC’s ratings just went a notch. Solid ratings throughout the twelve completed seasons which have resulted to an average of 10 million viewing audience and a few declines hereafter.

The show also received mixed reviews pertaining to the kind of relationship on screen, and whether the show is not scripted or truly guided by the reality tv set backs.
