Criminal Minds focuses around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyses the country's most twisted criminal minds, while they anticipate or guess the next move of the criminals to avoid further crimes or before they strike again on their next victim.

The story begins with David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) who comes out of retirement to help the Behavioral Analysis Unit lead by Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), a family man who's able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets.

Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of the ambassador and a surprise addition that neither Hotchner or Gideon signed off on; Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert in obsession related crimes; Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), a classical misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; and Jennifer 'JJ' Jareau (A.J. Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team.

While Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), acts as the team's audio/visual technician.

Each member brings their own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in an attempt to stop them.

Criminal Minds is a great psychological drama and suspense combined series that works on the development of the characters. It also has a family feel of atmosphere in it relating to all the background and the connection of the characters.

Story-wise, Criminal Minds has the usual openness of today's TV but does not go overboard with it. Many of the show’s episodes, features a very tense conclusion as someone is being saved at the last minute from some serial killer.

Criminal Minds is now running on its 7th season and audiences are applauding for its consistent flow of good script or story and fantastic delivery.
