Dancing with the Stars is a show that pairs up professional ballroom dancers with a number of celebrities, in an intense, live competition. The contestants have to compete each week by performing various dances in front of the nation, and a studio audience.

The pairs are voted by the viewers at home and also judged by a number of expert judges (Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli). Each week, the team that gets the lowest combined score is eliminated. The challenge is to maintain composure, grace and focus while learning new movements. The show offers its audience impressive dancing, dazzling costumes, contemporary music, behind-the-scenes training and celebrity gossip. The winners of the contest receive a grand prize of a mirror ball trophy.
