First time that we got a glimpse of this show, we thought of some mean doctor who would do anything to make you feel worst as a patient, and would rather not choose by a patient to deal with especially if the case is serious.

House, is an American medical drama that started on the Fox Network since 2004, with the co-production of Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions and Bad Hat Harry Productions.

Hugh Laurie first auditioned while he was filming a movie in Namibia, sending out a recorded audition tape that took place in a hotel bathroom.  Unknown to Bryan Singer who was casting the characters for the series, that Hugh Laurie was not an American person, since the producers were looking for some American person to play the role of House.

The show centers on Dr Gregory House played by Hugh Laurie, a popular and misanthropic medical genius who heads a group of diagnostic team at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) – a fictional hospital in the popular series based in New Jersey.

House works with a team of diagnostic doctors, in which each episode they are usually solving unfamiliar medical cases. Eliminating the possibilities, and in some way the patient is gets treatment. This usually causes medical misdiagnosis or complications followed by series of treatment, which eventually solves the issue.

In the television drama, on most occasions we see House and his team solving some medical issues of patients that are often caught lying on their symptoms, histories, and circumstances. If you are an avid watcher, you may have noticed that on several occasion, his team conducts an investigation on the patent's house.

Part of House story is his ordeal in fighting pain on his leg, which resulted from a gunshot from the earlier season, causing him to use cane on regular basis. He is addicted to Vicodin that caused him to seek help for his drug dependency in the midst of season five, later on developing a romantic relationship with Liza Cuddy (House’s boss and dean of medicine played by Liza Edelstein) which makes the series even more interesting to watch.
