Based on a Christmas card by the now-producers, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, called "The Spirit of Christmas"; South Park is a show about four boys; Eric Cartman, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenny McCormick. These four little fourth graders live in one messed up town. From talking poo to un-dead celebrities, to a mystical land of imagination, they see it all.

South Park presents us with satirical look on almost anything from American society - politics, the media, today's youth, celebrities, violence in our society, and more. However, instead of presenting these issues as they are, they alternately project them through the exploits of four foul-mouthed young boys in South Park, Colorado.

So what does this adult comedy has more in store for us to enjoy? Comedy Central had announced to pick the funny adult comedy show until year 2016. Voices behind the animated series casts are Trey Parker as Stan Marsh, Matt Stone as Kyle Broflovski, Mona Marshall as Sheila Broflovski, Isaac Hayes as Chef, among the few casts ensemble.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the creators of the popular series, both met in college, developed the show two animated shorts influenced by their love of Monty Python. Each character they’ve developed has their own individual style based on the personas, for example Stan is always been portrayed as the jack of all trade or everyman of the group but with mixed up identity issues. While Kyle is a lone Jew of the group, both characters are identically modelled after the two creators.

Since the beginning of the series, no other animated television series has ever been produced in television history. Others attempt to copy it but didn’t even match its level of genuine humour. Plus with the new addition of three seasons, the show is surely here to stay longer. Hope it goes up again for renewal by the time that comes just like The Simpsons successful runs.
